{"id":130207,"date":"2025-03-21T17:28:10","date_gmt":"2025-03-21T17:28:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/?page_id=130207"},"modified":"2025-09-17T09:42:41","modified_gmt":"2025-09-17T09:42:41","slug":"safed-withdrawal","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/safed-withdrawal\/","title":{"rendered":"SAFed withdrawal"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.safed.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Safety Assessment Federation (SAFed)<\/a> has chosen to withdraw from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/about\/cscs-alliance\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CSCS Alliance<\/a> and, as of <\/strong><strong>21st April 2025,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>no longer issue CSCS-logoed cards.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>To ensure SAFed cardholders will not be prevented from carrying out their work, sites are advised to continue accepting CSCS-logoed SAFed cards until <strong>30<sup>th<\/sup> September 2025, <\/strong>as long as they are still valid and within the original expiry date.<\/p>\n<p>SAFed cardholders, or their employers, have until this date to replace their cards either via CSCS or TWI Certification Ltd (TWI Cert) via their <a href=\"http:\/\/cswip.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Certification Scheme for Personnel (CSWIP)<\/a>, depending on their occupation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What cardholders need to do<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SAFed cardholders should take the following steps <strong>before 30th September 2025<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you work as a <strong>Steel Fabricator Welder or a Stud Welder<\/strong>: You can replace your SAFed card through <strong>CSCS<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>If you work in<strong> all other welding occupations <\/strong>or are a<strong> Welding Inspector<\/strong>: You can replace your card via <a href=\"http:\/\/cswip.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>CSWIP<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li>If you work as an Engineer Surveyor: You can obtain a CSCS card via <strong>CSCS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Safety Assessment Federation (SAFed) has chosen to withdraw from the CSCS Alliance and, as of 21st&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":77,"featured_media":0,"parent":0,"menu_order":134,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-130207","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/130207","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/page"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/77"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=130207"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/130207\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.cscs.uk.com\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=130207"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
